Tips for choosing the right length for you.

Just volume - Enhance your bio/natural hair by choosing a length similar.

Length gain and volume - Switch up your look by choosing a length 2-4” longer than your natural/bio hair. This is best achieved when your ends of you bio hair are finer. If you have a blunt cut it may be harder to blend a longer topper unless you are happy to maintain a curled style.

For best results use a flexible tape measure and hold the 0” end around your parting area and then let the tape measure hang down to measure the length of your natural/bio hair.

Are you looking for alternative hair that features an incredibly realistic parting, velvety soft and natural looking? Let me introduce you to my Luxury Silk Toppers.

To provide the ultimate silk topper we felt it needed to be comfortable, flat to the head and be available in wearable fashionable colour options and lengths. Most importantly, we wanted to make you feel super confident - the best version of yourself!

Our Luxury silk toppers are hand tied featuring 3 layers of silk on the top. The individual strands of hair are carefully injected through the silk to make it look just like natural hair coming from a scalp. The silk toppers are smooth to the head whilst giving beautiful volume. Silk toppers are known for being thicker on top than lace toppers so if you prefer a fuller look then this style is for you! Change up the parting with ease for different looks by wetting the top down and re sectioning. You can then blow dry the new parting in by directing the air flow over the new part.

The Back of the topper features a soft and stretchy closed cap for a snug and comfortable fit. The cap features a slide grip at the front and pressure sensitive clips are pre attactched around the perimeter of the piece to anchor it down securely. No more worrying about slipping or shifting on your day to day tasks!

The cap size will be displayed below. Toppers are best for partial coverage. For full head coverage please see our luxury lace and silk top wigs. The best way to check if the cap size will work for you is to use a flexible soft tape measure and measure front to back and then across your head side to side. Eg if the cap is 8x8 measure 8” back from your hairline - find 4” and then measure across from side to side to get a realistic idea of size. Please ensure you have plenty of bio hair around the perimeter of the cap to clip on to. The last thing we want is for the piece to be clipped onto fragile or sparse areas.

This means you can treat it as you would your own - curl, straighten, wave.. whatever your vibe is! Top care tip - for the best longevity always use heat protection spray before heat styling!

Silk toppers are suitable for many needs including - covering thinning areas on the top of your head, changing up your colour, adding more volume to your natural hair. For best results sit it slightly back from your hairline and gently brush (with a soft bristle brush) your natural hair up and into the topper hair for a blended look.

Shipping And Returns

Shipping (Uk customers)

Wig / Topper orders will be sent via special delivery recorded and insured for the value of the item with royal mail. Accessories (topper grips/wig grips etc) will be Royal Mail 1st class signed for.

International Orders

Please expect to pay customs fees on international orders. We are based in the Uk so all packages leaving the country will have a customs declaration form filled out to the correct value of the wig for insurance purposes. We will not be held responsible to pay customs fees. We use DHL or Royal Mail International which are tracked and signed for services.

Order Cancelation

If you have purchased a wig or topper from us online and wish to cancel before it has been dispatched we must enforce a 5% cancelation fee. This is to cover fees lost from the website transaction. When we refund your cancelled order we will loose the same fees regardless of it leaving the store or not.

Returning your Order

If you decide once you have received your wig or topper that it is not right for you, you can return it along as it is still in a saleable condition. We will deduct 5% from the refund to cover website fees and re preparation of the product for a future customer. When we refund an order we still loose the website fees from the origional transaction. We send every item out with lots of love and care. A great deal of time is spent preparing and styling for you to try on at home and we are very grateful for your understanding that if you do not wish to keep it we will then have to re prepare the wig/topper to our very high standard for the next customer.

If you make adjustments to length colour cut or lace you will not be able to return the wig. Once the lace is cut at the front this means you are completely happy with keeping the wig.

If the wig has makeup on the lace we will not accept the return and send the wig back to you.

If you are returning the wig/topper purchased you must notify us and return it within 14 days of receiving it. We will have a record of the day you received it from our tracked and signed for delivery. Once the wig has been inspected and everything is looking good your refund will then be processed. This can take up to 5 working days. You must return the wig via special delivery tracked signed and insured for the correct amount incase it gets lost in the post.

You are responsible for the cost of returning your order. Royal Mail cover £1000 or £2500 insurance with special delivery. We cannot be held responsible to refund your order if we haven't received the item back and there is no proof of tracking. If your return does not reach us but you have proof of tracked and insured post you will have to contact Royal Mail for a refund.

VAT Exemption for Medical Hairloss

Vat will be added at checkout. If you are medically exempt please get in touch for a VAT exemption form. We will email it to you via DOCUSIGN. Once you have signed this form and returned it to us the VAT will no longer be added at checkout. Email us for a form - Prettylittlewigs_byhollie@outlook.com

VAT exemption is available to our customers who wear wigs & hairpieces for necessity reasons. Customers who require wigs or hairpieces due to alopecia, hair loss as a result of chemotherapy treatment or any other medical condition that causes hair loss, and is confirmed by a GP, are classed as necessity wearers.

If any of the above applies to you, you are entitled to receive the VAT off the cost of your wig at the time of purchase. Please note: VAT exemption applies to wigs & hairpieces only and does not apply to accessories like wig grip bands and aftercare products.

If you are unsure as to whether you are eligible to receive goods or services zero-rated for VAT you should consult Notice 701/7 VAT reliefs for disabled people at www.hmrc.gov.uk or by contacting the VAT Disabled Reliefs Helpline on 0300 123 1073 before signing the declaration. Please note, there are strict penalties for making false declarations.

VAT Exemption is available whether you purchase from our salon or online through our website.

Customers that are entitled to VAT exemption and who are placing an order through our website will need to CONTACT US before they make a purchase. You will need to fill out and sign the declaration, failure to do this will result in VAT being applied to the goods. Once we have your completed and signed form we will manually amend the price for you before you checkout the item you wish to purchase with the VAT deducted ready for you.

We are unable to refund any VAT after the order has been confirmed, processed and despatched.

Please be aware that orders cannot be processed less VAT until we have had confirmation of the VAT exemption form either by post, by hand or by email, nor can a refund be issued after the order has been processed and despatched.
