Infill Information
Please note we can only offer up to 2 hour infills at this time due to demand, and if we think your wig/topper requires more time than this we recommend you contact REVAMP a trusted wig and topper repair specialist. They also offer colouring and lace repair.
Over time, the knots at the parting and hairline may shed due to their very delicate nature. We recommend scheduling maintenance appointments approximately every 6 months to have these areas refilled. Frequency can vary based on individual wear and care and can be required sooner or later than this average estimate. Infills are suitable for smaller areas of shedding. It takes approximately one hour to complete an area about the size of a 20p coin. We charge £50 per hour for an infill that is dropped off or posted to us and can be kept for 3–5 working days.
If you require a same-day appointment (done while you wait), there’s an additional charge of £10 per hour (£60 per hour total).
To keep costs down, we usually use hair taken from the back of your wig to infill areas at the top. Darker wigs usually blend very well, but for blonde wigs with roots, we can only refill using blonde hair. You may therefore wish to book a root darkening service afterwards.
We don’t offer colouring services ourselves, but we recommend Peluka Salon or REVAMP, who specialise in colouring wigs and toppers.
We’ll need clear photos of the areas needing attention to estimate the time required. Please show all parts needing work - for example, the top, parting, and front hairline — as we can only quote based on what’s visible.
• For the parting: take a photo directly from above.
• For the front hairline: spray with water and comb the hair back for clarity.
